Control Panel/Administrative Area

In the administrative area of your site you may set up pop accounts, e–mail aliases, password protected directories, view your web site statistics and more:

  • www.yourdomainname.com/admin/
  • login: yourlogin
  • domain name: yourdomainname.com
  • password: yourpassword

When you first log in there is a popup window with links to a Quick Start Guide and Help to explain some of the features.

To get to your statistics click on ANALOG, in the left-hand menu.


SquirrelMail (web-based e-mail):

  • www.yourdomainname/webmail/

This link will take you to a sign-in page. Here you will need the following information:

  • youremailaddress@domainname.com
  • yourpassword

POP (e-mail) Account Settings

  • Outgoing Server (smtp): mail.yourdomainname.com
  • Incoming Server (pop3): mail.yourdomainname.com*

Some ISP's (Internet Server Providers) require you to use their outgoing mail server.

Select: " Outgoing mail server requires authentication"

  • login: email@domainname.com
  • pw: password

Common E-mail Issues Explained

Undeliverable mail
This is a bounced e-mail message. The most common error messages are:

  1. User unknown
    What it means: Incorrect address in the username portion of the address.

    Make sure you have correctly specified the portion of the address before the "@".

  2. Host unknown
    What it means: Incorrect address in the domain or top-domain portions of the address.

    Make sure you have correctly specified the portion of the address after the "@"

  3. Network unreachable
    What it means: Gateway limitations or problems with the network backbone.

    Recheck e-mail address, retry another time.
  4. Connection timed out
    What it means: Software problem communicating with the destination mail server.

    Check connection, verify e-mail configuration.

  5. Connection refused
    What it means: Problem with the destination mail server.

    Contact administrator of the destination mail server.
